There is a lot of going on at Shorewood Hills Elementary School this Fall!
4K/ 5K Playdate: Monday, August 25th 5pm
Students starting at Shorewood in 4K or Kindergarten are invited to come to the school playground. It is a chance to meet kids and play at your new school.
Popcorn Sales: September 12th, September 26th, October 10th, October 24th, November 7th, November 21st, December 12th
Twice a month on Fridays, the PTO sponsors a popcorn sale afterschool at the front entrance. Popcorn is $1 per bag.
Volunteers will be needed for popcorn sales. This is a volunteer opportunity in the building during the school day, so completing the MMSD Volunteer Training is required.
Annual Fundraising Drive:
The annual fundraising drive creates the PTO budget for the school year. This year’s goal is to raise $15,000 which will help fund school community building events, fund student enrichment opportunities, support staff classroom needs and special requests, and support families in need.
Fall Clean Up: Sunday October 5th, 10:00am
Join members of the Shorewood Hills Elementary School community and help to get the school grounds trimmed and ready for Fall.
Costume Swap: Thursday October 23rd (at school dismissal)
Donate gently used Halloween costumes to the collection bins at the front of the school starting Monday October 13th through Wednesday October 22nd.
After school on Thursday, the swap will take place where you can choose one costume per child.
Fall Festival: Saturday, October 25th, 1-4pm
The Fall Festival will take place on the Shorewood Hills Elementary school grounds (1105 Shorewood Blvd). Come from 1pm-4pm and for fun with games, DJ, music, dancing, food and a scavenger hunt.
Winter Gear Collection and Giveaway: October 28-November 4
Starting October 28th, donate gently used winter gear items to collection bins at Door 1 (front entrance) and Door 4 (KG door). During Parent Teacher Conferences Monday November 4th, families will have the opportunity to choose items.
Scholastic Book Fair : October 30th, November 3rd and November 4th
Come to the library and browse the collection of books from Scholastic. Proceeds from the fair go to Ms. Hill and the school library.
