SAVE THE DATES!
International Week is a joyful, weeklong celebration of culture, heritage, and hometown pride! Throughout the week, students and families come together to share traditions, art, clothing, performances, and food from around the world. It is an opportunity to celebrate what makes each student unique, learn from one another, and build community at the school that connects us all!
Sunday 4/26
Art Activity at Eagle Heights Community Center (1:00-3:00PM)
Opportunity to make a life size portrait to decorate the school for our celebration week.
Wednesday 4/29
Parade & Performance
Students celebrate their hometown pride and heritage through their clothing in a “runway show” during a whole school assembly, followed by student performances of global arts (dance, music, games, skills, etc.). Encore show at 6:00pm for families.
Saturday 5/2
Food Fair (11:15AM – 12:45PM)
Families share their favorite dishes, and food from all parts of the world – experience homemade foods from every continent in one meal in the gym.
Global Village (11:30AM – 2:00PM)
Families transform classrooms with displays and activities celebrating our world cultures and heritage.
Do not miss these amazing events! Better still, be a part of them! We will need lots of volunteers to make these events happen. Connect with families & friends and team up to work on a food table or Global Village display and activities.
Registrations for all events will be coming out in March – stay tuned!
