There is a lot going on at Shorewood Hills Elementary School this Spring!
Popcorn Sales:
Popcorn will be sold after school on the following Fridays: April 3rd, April 17th, May 1st, May 15th, May 29th
Bags of popcorn are sold for $1 each, cash only. Popcorn is made using coconut oil.
Volunteers are needed for popcorn sales. This is a Level One volunteer opportunity in the building during the school day, so completing the MMSD Volunteer Training is required. Check out this post if you want more information on how to navigate the MMSD volunteer system.
Science Night Wednesday April 8th 5-6:30pm
Join us for an evening of exploration and discovery! From engaging hands-on experiments to mind-boggling demonstrations, you are invited to explore diverse fields in science. From rockets and robots to geology and astrophysics! Bring your friends and family for an unforgettable night of
scientific wonder.
International Week: April 26th-May 2nd

- Parade and Performance: Wednesday April 29th
- Global Food Fair: Saturday May 2nd
- Global Village: Saturday May 2nd
Teacher Appreciation Week: May 4-8th
PTO sponsors a staff breakfast on Monday May 4th and a teacher lunch on Thursday May 7th.
Bike/Walk to School Day: May 6th
Bike or walk to school and have a quick refreshment before heading into school. Parent volunteers are needed to lead groups of bikers from various meeting points down to the school.
Teacher Tea: June 8th
The teachers enjoy tea and treats at their final staff meeting of the school year.
